The increase in monthly salary credits for Social Security System (SSS) members starting January 1, 2025, is supported by Republic Act No. 11199, known as the Social Security Act of 2018. This law mandates a gradual rise in contribution rates, culminating in a total contribution of 15% by 2025, which includes adjustments to the Monthly Salary Credits (MSC) for various member categories.
