✍️ Arts/Lit The Hollow Riches

In a world of wealth and gold,
A man stood tall, or so we're told.
With pockets full and riches grand,
He possessed all that he could demand.

But deep within his heart's abyss,
Lay a void, a sense of something amiss. For all the treasures he could hold, Could not fill the emptiness, untold.

He sought solace in material gain,
Yet the emptiness remained, causing him pain. For in his quest for worldly pleasure, He lost touch with life's true treasure.

Amidst the glitz and glamour's sway,
He yearned for something more each day.

A connection, a purpose, a sense of worth, Beyond the trappings of this earthly girth.

For money alone could not suffice,
To bring him joy, to make him feel alive. He longed for love, for genuine care, To fill the void that lingered there.

And so he learned, through trials and strife,That true fulfillment comes from a different life.

Not in possessions, but in bonds we share, In kindness, compassion, and love's gentle flare.

So let this tale be a reminder to all,
That happiness lies not in a material sprawl. But in the intangible, the moments we create,For it's in those moments, true fulfillment awaits.
