I downloaded Goodlock from the Samsung store and installed "homeup", under the settings you can turn off background blur which it states will improve performance.. this has made a world of difference to how smooth navigating around the S6 lite 2022 feels.
I have also changed the animation scale in Android developer settings to 0.5 and the whole experience is now pretty slick!
Hopefully this helps someone else that's annoyed by how stuttery navigating can be sometimes, I also plan to do this on my S8 ultra.. not because it's in anyway slow just because I prefer the look.
