PHnope, mine is working fine. no ads using the ipv4 dns, that's why I'm not bothered even if I don't have a YT premium subscription haha.
is there a place inside your router that you can input the ipv4? Try to find it and see what will happen.

As far as i know. here I can out manual DNS
but i need to configure my IP for the DNS to work.. I have no static IP ..so i guess with a dynamic IP i'll end up having no internet after while

yes, even if you have a dynamic IP, it will work, just make sure that you have a DoT or DoH reserved on your cp or browser so when your IP change, it will auto authorize your IP right away.
By the way, make sure that you are using the same dns and ipv4, I think that ipv4 you're using is from my other thread and not from this thread. you should use any of the two provided here

what i have done for my phone and other laptop set up google DNS so that i can access my local sites with no traffic concerns...
just use the DoT on your phone, that's the easiest way, the instruction is on the first page, once it's working, you can now try the ipv4 setup via router.

Stil no luck with my setup.. TV (Chromecast TV stick) YT app continue to play adverts
As long as you set it up correctly DoT via phone + ipv4 to your router and you connect your chromecast, it should be fine. Double check your setup.

Hanapin mo lng dns settings sa router, iba iba kasi setup ng mga router. Pero wla na lalagay sa submet mask, yung ipv4 sa dns mo lng ilalagay.
