I have set proxy+DNS on my router (OpenWrt)
with the same wifi from the router...
Youtube no ads when playing on PC but on my TV (Chromecast) i do get adverts with usual traffic (like i'm watching with a normal internet connection!)

any idea?

Are you using same dns bundled with its ipv4? Maybe it's the proxy that's causing the problem, try removing the proxy first and see if the issue is still the same.

Ok you meant to say the TV app is causing the issue?

I cannot test with a browser.. google chromecast does not support web browser..
