Solution​

To be able to log in to our account (in order to receive a verification SMS), we need a new phone number or other active account.

1. If you do not have a new telephone number registered in the telegram, register it.
Enter your new phone number and click NEXT. You will receive an SMS with a verification code.

(If you are already registered or have access to other active account, proceed to #2.)

2. Log in to your new account / other active account.

3. Now comes the magic. Click the arrow next to Username. The menu will open, where you can click on Add account.

4. This time, enter the original phone number of the accounts you are trying to sign in to.

5. You will receive a verification SMS to the original phone number. However, this is a number that is used to merge accounts. Enter this number. Complete the migration

6. Now try signing in to your original account again . And Voila! The verification SMS has arrived! And you can log in to your account.
