The Role- HYBRID
As an IT Software Procurement Officer, you will handle strategic sourcing, bidding, negotiating and procurement for the IT Software requirements of the bank and to be able to purchase quality items at the least possible cost. The role will contribute to the organization by the savings it brings in procuring these items for the Bank.
How You'll Contribute:
Canvasses and developing of an adequate list, particularly for IT-related suppliers.
Analyzes various software cost models/options and provide a recommendation to the management based on the business’ needs
Conducts bidding based on submitted requirements to supply business needs.
Negotiates and places orders for approved canvass summary for the IT-related software.
Routes all approved e-source requisitions to respective buyers.
Monitors supplier performance through follow-up to ensure on-time delivery of services.
Guides subordinates on queries/consultations on day-to-day transactions.
Prepares accomplishment reports and supervises team member performance.
Checks and monitors activities on pending tasks or assignments.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing, or any related field.
Have at least 5 years of experience in IT-Hardware, IT-Software, Purchasing/Material Management
Knowledgeable of various types of IT Software related services ( term & subscription, maintenance, and support)
Knowledgeable of Information Technology and Software terminologies
Ability to negotiate the best quality at the least possible cost and manage suppliers
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Marketing, or any related field.
