PHFading Light
The days pass slowly with each breath I take
It feels like my heart is about to break
Each night I cry in anguish and despair
Can't seem to lift the weight of my heavy care
Everything I do is shrouded in gloom
Depression enveloping my life like a tomb
The light in my eyes is slowly fading away
As the years seem to just pass like a day
My world is a vortex of sorrow and pain
And my life has seemingly lost all its gain
My hopes and dreams all turned into dust
It's an inevitability from which I cannot adjust
With no escape from the darkness of loss
It only weighs heavier on me with no cost
Following me until the very day I die
Living a life of misery and cry
