During our Personal Development class, I've realized that most people tend to neglect the importance of making someone feel "appreciated".
Most of us, we unconsciously normalize the concept of criticism to the extent that it's kind of difficult for us to see the good in others.
Therefore, during our class, I've reminded my students to "break the cycle".
Words of affirmation such as, "you did great", "ang galing mo", "nag-improve ka", "I appreciate you for doing your effort/best", "ang ganda mo today", these are all easy to say, at higit sa lahat, it's for free.
Bakit mo pa ipapagkakait, diba?
Everyday, we are all struggling in between our small wins and victories.
Be the person who lift others. Break the cycle.
