Eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is a chronic condition that can be lifelong. However, it can also fluctuate in severity and frequency over time, and many people experience periods of remission where symptoms improve or disappear altogether.

It is important to work with a healthcare provider to develop a personalized treatment plan for eczema, as what works best for one person may not be effective for another. In some cases, more aggressive treatments like phototherapy or systemic medications may be necessary.

It is also important to prioritize self-care and stress management, as stress and other emotional factors can exacerbate eczema symptoms. Engaging in relaxation techniques like meditation or yoga, getting enough sleep, and seeking support from loved ones or mental health professionals can all be helpful in managing eczema symptoms.
