This is another version of a rash of similar questions regarding the difference between the pronouns “who” and “whom.”

In the example question, the correct version of this pronoun is “whom.” Why? Because it serves the function of being the object pronoun (“whom”), not the subject pronoun (“who”), of the sentence. That is, it receives, not generates, the action of the sentence.
