MANILA, Philippines – Filipino workers are getting higher take-home pays in 2023 as the TRAIN Law further reduces personal income taxes.

Under the TRAIN or the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law, individuals earning purely from compensation income whose taxable earnings are less than P8 million yearly will have lower tax rates ranging from 15% to 30% starting January 1, 2023.

Knowing who sits the iron throne.

OCTA Research's fourth quarter Tugon ng Masa survey showed 85% of ãdül† Filipinos believed the country was headed in the right direction.

Visayas had the most positive response at 91%, followed by balance Luzon or areas in Luzon except the National Capital Region (87%), Mindanao (84%), and Metro Manila (70%).

Only 6% percent disagreed while 9% said they didn't know or were undecided.
