On the original text ung word "word" ay ang nakalagay "logos". It could also mean "principle" or "thought".

It was a wordplay used by writers of the time, first, for artistic reasons. second, For Jesus, a mere man, to justify superseding the old God. A bit tricky, while it is still true, Jesus is the "principle".
Superseding is a common historical fact of religion to convert people from their old belief system. Even the old testament God superseded some old polytheist God, example is Baal. Then some other Gods are accused to be Satan. Example of this is lucifer.

Philippines Bathala was superseded by Christian god, Jesus. However, we are stuck to thinking his being is the same as Bathala's being. Which is wrong. Jesus is a man, with perfect principles when he died. Kaya may phrase na "jesus is in you" pag maganda mga prinsipyo mo. Not when you belief in a superstitious being.

with this logic I can even argue that believing In God is pagan. But people here are too emotional to have a fruitful conversation about that, so lets move on.

Speaking about superseding, this also applies to celebrations. Old pagan celbrations are replaced with celebrations more meaningful to Christians, again to turn us away from the pagan traditions. This is true for halloween and christmas.

So is it wrong to celebrate christmas? No.
Is it wrong to NOT celebrate christmas? No.
Is it wrong for people who do not celebrate christmas to recieve bonus, or eat in others celebration? No. Traditionally christmas is for giving. People who celebrate are the ones who give, it does not matter what faith the reciever is practicing.

Ang pinagtataka ko lang talaga jan, hindi ba naiisip ng mga members nyan na yung ganyang religion nila ay magkakapareho sila halos ng doctrines pero magkakaiba sila ng religion o grupo? Sabagay, di na ko nagulat. Kadalasang sasabihin nila "Dito na ko pinanganak, dito rin ako mamamatay" o mga salitang kagaya niyan

unfair talaga ang bible kasi ayaw ka ipa-entertain sa iba, if it's really the best book then bakit pinipigilan nitong ma-compare sa iba

Meron po bang ganyang verse sir sa Bible na pinipigilan mag compare sa ibang "holy books" ng ibang religion? Baka lang po hindi ako familiar sa verse na yan... Ang alam ko kasing ipinagbabawal ay yung sumamba sa ibang "diyos-diyosan" gaya ni Baal o iba pang "diyos".

Logos means "word" or "salita". Kapag pinag-aralan talaga kung paano sinulat ni Juan yang verse 1:1, madaling maunawaan na hindi tinutukoy ni Juan na si Jesus din ang "Diyos". Kadalasang paboritong verse lang talaga yan ng mga naniniwala sa trinity gaya ng mga binanggit kong religion sa taas

Pero simple lang po ang logic niyan. Jan palang mismo sa John chapter 1 may sagot na jan e. Sa context palang mismo, makikita ng hindi sinasabing si Jesus mismo ang Ama o ang Diyos. Sinabi mismo ni Juan sa verse 18 na "walang taong nakakita sa Diyos kailanman", pero si Jesus ay nakita at nakasalamuha ng mga tao diba?

Nope. Mali ka po ng pagkakaintindi sa amin hehe. What I refuse is the idea that Jesus himself is the God, or he is part of a "trinity". Mismong si Jesus at mga alagad nya ang nagsasabing hindi Diyos si Jesus.

Kanino po ako maniniwala, kay Jesus po ba at sa mga apostol niyang nagsasabing hindi Diyos si Jesus? O doon sa mga pastor o ibang tao na nagsasabi at nagpupumilit na gawing Diyos o kapantay ng Diyos o part ng trinity si Jesus?

Of course, may "pagka-diyos" si Jesus. Anak ng Diyos nga e. Pero magkaiba yan sa "Diyos Anak" (walang ganyan sa bible) o na siya rin ang "Ama at Diyos" o pantay sila ng Diyos. Walang turo na ganyan ang bible kapag pinag-aralan talaga ito.
