PHdi ako masyado fan sa mga sub groups kasi di na logical yung description like "i don't know but i believe", it's more of religion pa din iyan sila instead of logic, tatlo pa din sakin, those who are sure there is god, sure that there is no god at yung dependent on science or the doubters

Pano naging illogical ung "i dont know but i believe"?? Pdng paki explain..so alin jan tingin mo ang pinakalogical in terms of what one knows and what one believes in?
Pano naging religion ang di paniniwala sa isang bagay??
Ako technically i categorized myself as an agnostic atheist...but i simply say that am an atheist which means for me is some who doesnt not believe in the current god claims presented by multiple religions...
Yes.. and i dunno lang kung active pa sya sa debates about religion lately.. mostly kasi nakikita ko sa kanya now is about race and gender inequality
it's saying you don't know what you believe, nauna yung believing before sa knowing which is sa religion ko lang nakikita ito parang magical, i don't have the pinaka logical but i consider only 3 (there is god for sure, there is no god for sure and the doubters) as logical

Madami pd example yang a person doesnt know pero he believes in…
Nabanggit mo na yang magic… for someone who DOES NOT KNOW about slight of hand or optical illusion, he will probably BELIEVE na its magical. Pero if you do KNOW about those things then you will NOT BELIEVE its magic but a mere performance of trickery…
We dont know if unicorns exists, yet some people believe that they do.
Pag nabuntis ang asawa mo u dont know right away kung boy or girl ung baby.. pero u can believe it kung ano mang gender feel mo.. after ilang months and naconfirm mo na na baby boy they u KNOW na…nung may room pa for doubt pd kang maniwala anyway u want.. pero pag confirmed na bibitawan mo na ung maling paniniwala syempre dapat…

Pag naglaro tayo ng jacknpoy, i believe na mananalo ako pag ginamit ko paper. Pero i dont know kung mananalo nga ba tlga ako. It doesnt mean may religious basis ang pag pili ko ng papel. So, Ano b tlga sinasabi mo?

toink nag usap lang kami about our preferred groupings kaya nothing imposed but just sharing our preferences hehe
ako kasi pag subjective na di ko na i-consider as logical, kasi it looks like you are giving answers to the unknowns na yun naman ang pinaka ayaw ko sa religion yung sila lang ang meron sagot but yeah it's a matter of preference lang naman

Subjective things can be logical though... If a person says na malungkot sya thats subjective.. di mo pd sabihin na ilogical un at di talaga sya malungkot dahil di ikaw ang nakakaramdam non..thats subjective and thats logical...

yeah by dictionary it is logical, ako lang naman ang never nag consider so don't worry, di ko talaga kayang gawing logical kapag naglalagay ng sagot sa unknown

me.. ang saken ay sarili experience, after being christian faith defender for many years, nag convert ako sa Islam since nakita ko sa Quran ang di ko nakita sa Bibliya, kahit na may mga bagay na hindi ko matanggap tungkol kay muhammad nilunok ko padin ng may mahigit 2 years kung sa pagkakatanda ko, yung matinding emotional pain ang nag tulak sakin sa pagiging agnostic, dun ako napa isip at nag rethink sa paniniwala ko not only on islam pati nadin sa abrahamic religion sa pangkahalatan, at don dumating yung time na naunawaan ko na there is a big problem between this abrahamic god and the morality of good and evil.. maari siya ay nag eexist maaring hindi, tulad ng sabi ni MIchio Kaku na physicists at agnostic " we cannot 100 percent knows if god exist or not exist".. sa ngayon hindi ko na iniisip yan.. kung nag eexist man ang diyos masasabi kong siya ay walang paki alam, or maybe he is in eternal sleep, sa madaling salita kung may diyos man siya ay inutil at isang malaking pag sasayang ng precious times of your life na siya ay sambahin

Somewhat agree ako na ung basta basta paglalagay ng sagot sa unknowns is illogical lalo na kung walang basehang evidence or proof… ang logical na stand jan is to not believe or to say na “i dont know”…
Pero uulitin ko lang… knowing and believing are two different things…

Para mas malinawan ka dun sa difference nung 2
parang mag a-agree na ako sa iyo kasi we don't exercise belief in science coz it's not something to believe but it's just mainly stating what is observed, so tama ka nga na believing is separate from knowing, knowing is for science and belief is for religion

Any man of science can believe in anything he wants to... Like for example life on other planets or galaxies... One can believe that there is on based on scientific methods of the its likelihood...pero unless he can know for sure eh hanggang belief lang un.. same sa religion na they believe na merong god.. pero thay dont know that for sure..so it stays as a belief.. pero some people have such strong belief about dun na they think that they have that knowledge na....
i don't think it's belief because belief is desiring something to happen, i would call it as hypothesis instead, i guess that there is life out there so i need to test if it's true
dito sa religion it is the members' desire to have god or to have no god kumbaga they really want it to be true, mas mabigat as compared to guessing

nope, a hypothesis is not yet backed by evidence, you are very wrong, you are not stu̾pid enough to test something already proven
belief is still hoping something to be true that is why you don't want to test it
only a guess can be tested but belief cannot be tested because believers have already accepted it as proven true

Hyphothesis is evidence based… ung evidence na un ang basehan to form that educated guess… then u test it to know whether its true or false…
you keep on attaching yang hope and desire sa belief…
