39hp compressor motor, 80amp, 230vac, 3 phase, 40 meters ang layo.
Paano po ma-compute ang voltage drop, wire size, at breaker size?
 
student kaba TS? need mo PEC dyan for wire size and breaker hehe and yung voltage drop macocompute mo na gamit yung given may formula sigurado na binigay sainyo at naturo yan hehe review ka lang

una need mo full load current mo . given na
i'll assume na ang pf is 0.85 since hindi binigay and efficiency is 80%

formula is HPx 746/ √3 xVoltage x pf x eff.

(39x746) divided by ( √3 x 230 x 0.85 x 0.8) = 107.4 A


for full load amp sa VD calculation need mo itimes sa 125% ng load
Full Load Amp = A x 125% = 134.25 A

VD = (√3 x distance x full load amp (R^2 + x ^ 2)) / 305

since may given na pf as per pec ang impedance mo ay 0.30 so

VD = (√3 x 40 x 134.25 x 0.30) / 305
VD = 9.148 V

% VD = (VD/V) x 100 = (9.148 /230) x 100 = 3.978 %

resulting to 220.85 V lang ang masusupply sa End mababawasan mo to if gagamit ka ng mas malaking wire

as per PEC voltage drop must be less than 3%

minimum wire size is 60mm^2 for T,TW and 50mm^2 for THHN/THWN,THW

makinig lang sa prof at tandaan mga formula and table di mo magagamit sa exam at board exam yang Voltage drop calculator kung stident ka hehe
