Ang process niyan ay parang ganito. This is not my explanation but from a coach I follow.
The Belief Cycle (Belief > Thoughts > Emotions > Action > Outcome: Old belief/New belief)
Example: Di ko kaya > Iisipin mo ng iisipin na hindi mo kaya > Panghihinaan ka ng loob dahil iniisip mo hindi mo kaya > Hindi mo na gagawin talaga dahil akala mo hindi mo kaya > Pag hindi mo ginawa, na-proved ng sarili mo na hindi mo nga talaga kaya. Boom, limiting belief.
Saan nag start yan? Yes, dahil akala mo lang sa pinakaumpisa ng process na "Hindi ko kaya".
The Process of Correcting Beliefs
1. Identify the thought that you're having using key question such as "Why could part of me believe I need this situation/challenge?"
2. Acknowledge that you have it (Limiting belief)
3. Do not BLAME others and be RESPONSIBLE
4. For your mind to correct an old belief, you need more proof to support your NEW belief
5. TAKE a SMALL achievable ACTION on the NEW belief and celebrate it or cheer yourself. Kahit maliit na bagay lang yan.
6. Rewiring your Brain with NEW beliefs
Example: Kaya ko matuto ng isang skill > Iisipin mo ng iisipin na kaya mo at benefits nito pag natutuhan mo yun > Lalakas na ang loob mo dahil iniisip mo kaya mo > Gagawa ka ng small steps to learn it, read something daily, etc, then congratulate yourself > Magugulat ka nalang, natuto ka na pala.
Boom! New Beliefs.
