PLDT ENTERPRISE ADVISORY ON ASE AND AAG SUBMARINE CABLE FAULT (DATED JANUARY 26, 2022)

• Lead time for the release of permit is 30-45 days.
• Estimate restoration is 2-3 weeks for the two segments, 1 near HK and the other near Daet.
• Full Restoration of ASE Capacity will be moved to 2nd week of March 2022.
• Higher latency and slowdown may still be experienced especially during peak hours but Network team is continuously monitoring and performing traffic rebalancing to minimize the congestion.

NOTE: SCHEDULE MAY CHANGE DEPENDING ON THE AVAILABILITY OF PERMIT AND WEATHER CONDITION.

2nd week ng march ang target completion...
un eh kung wala nang ibang factors na makakapagpadelay pa ng repair, gaya ng required permits at weather condition sa dagat.
Si ASE (at AAG) in-charge sa repair. Since hindi pagmamay-ari ni PLDT ang submarine cable, outside PLDT's jurisdiction ang mga yan. So, walang magagawa si PLDT kundi maghintay din mg mga ibabatong updates ni ASE (at AAG) sa kanila.
