After making its world debut earlier this year, the all-new 2 Series Coupe and 4 Series Gran Coupe are now in Asia.

Recently making their regional debut, it signals the imminent arrival of BMW's latest offerings throughout the ASEAN region. But what can we expect from the two vehicles once they make their way to the Philippines?

Let's start with the 2 Series Coupe. Borrowing inspiration from the classic 2002, the all-new two-door features aggressive styling that consists of sharp lines, and muscular curves. It also has a long hood, short deck design that is reminiscent of past coupes. But unlike the new 4 Series, the 2 Series Coupe features a different grille that is smaller than its sedan counterpart.

Hopping inside, and the cabin features a familiar design of the new 3-Series and 4 Series. There's a large instrument cluster at the front, the signature hexagonal touchscreen infotainment with iDrive7, and contrast stitching on the leather seats, door panel accents, leather steering wheel, and center armrest.

There are four engine options available for the 2 Series Coupe. First up is the 220d which serves as the lone turbo-diesel engine that makes 190 PS with 400 Nm of torque from a 2.0-liter inline-four. Next is the gasoline-powered range that starts with the 220i. It puts out 184 PS with 300 Nm of torque thanks to a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four.

Following that is the 230i which also uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. This one, however, makes more power at 245 PS with 450 Nm of torque. Serving as the most powerful version is the M240i xDrive. It gets a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine that cranks out 374 PS and 500 Nm of torque. All of the engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift.

Moving to the bigger 4 Series Gran Coupe, the four-door is basically the non-electric version of the i4. Now on its second generation, it shares a familiar body style with the 4 Series Coupe, albeit sporting two additional doors. It also gets the familiar large grille design, a new aggressive front bumper, and a wide array of wheel designs.

Inside, and it looks pretty much like the standard 3-Series sedan. From the dashboard to the center stack, it's identical through and through. It also gets a digital instrument panel, a touchscreen infotainment system with iDrive7, paddle shifters, and full-leather upholstery.

Like the 2 Series Coupe, the 4 Series Gran Coupe is available with various engine options. These include the 420d which is a turbo-diesel that makes 190 PS with 400 Nm of torque, the 420i which comes with a turbo-gasoline 2.0-liter that puts out 184 PS with 300 Nm of torque, and the 430i which has a boosted 2.0-liter that makes additional power at 245 PS and 400 Nm of torque.

Last but not least is the M440i xDrive which is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six that's good for 374 PS and 500 Nm of torque. All of the engines are connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift.

With both BMW cars now in Asia, it may only be a matter of time before they make their way to the Philippines.
