Karamihan po ba sa mga web dev is com scie yung kinuha sa college?

BSIT po kasi balak ko itake sa college hehe salamat

BSIT po ako, and web dev ako ngayon. Either po sa dalawa is may programming subjects more on theoretical studies nga lng si BSCS. Si IT, mejo broad but not too deep. Curriculum includes software, hardware, and networking. In the end, ikaw nalang mamili kung saan ka mag focus.

Depende malawak naman yun pero for sure ma tatackle naman niyo amg web dev,. Depende naman sa i tatahak ng carrer mo kumg san mo gusto specialized. In my case BSIT ako pero sa data analytics at statistics ako napunta, di ko nga alm di naman ako mahilig sa math.

Parehong pinag aaralan yan ng IT at com sci, kinaibahan lang mas heavy sa math yung com sci diyan pumapasok yung data science kasama na din diyan yung calculus.

Do you have any tips/techniques sir para sa tulad ko na aspiring web dev huhu salamat

Grade 12 pa lang po kasi ako and I have a little knowledge lang about sa html,css,js. Salamat po ulit

TIPS:

1. Huwag masyado umasa sa turo sa school, self learning talaga ang best. Mostly kasi sa schools, basic knowledge lang ang tinuturo. And using that basics, research through internet, aralin mo and practice until maging advanced/skilled ka on that particular technology or tool.

2. Master at least 1 programming language and 1 database for your back-end development. I recommend, PHP and MySQL. Mastering at least one, will make you more comfortable in learning other programming languages.

3. Artistic mind, webdev is also about designs. The Graphical user interface (GUI). For your front-end development, study HTML, CSS, JQuery/JavaScript, Web-safe colors, color combinations, and minimal graphic designs (photoshop, indesign, corel draw etc.).

Kaya di ako magaling diyan sa web dev, wala akong artistic mind haha, siguro kaya sa data ako kasi i based my thinking sa facts. Mahina akon sa design pero magaling ako mag manipulate ng data.

Same here lods, so-so lng din yung artistic skills ko Buti nlng may mga CSS/JS frameworks na ngayon laking tulong hehe. And may mga nka work narin akong data analyst, gagaling nyo po, maasahan kapag may need akong stats from big data napapadali pag gawa ko ng mga APIs

Hindi BSIT at BSCS ang course ko pero marunong naman ako sa web development. Basta mahilig ka sa programming matututo ka talaga.
