Don't use linux if your not familiar with it uses different storage format & so on. If you want a very stable environment I recommend Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC Ghost Spectre.

Linux formats pixels & images differently than you think. But for Web Dev I recommend Ubuntu.

You can use windows 10 os with your specs. windows has more variety of tools you can't replace using other os.
