That is good news to the fans of Manny and Spence, not only them but the entire boxing avid fans . Dalawa lang ang pwedeng kaharapin sa welterweight na champion either Crawford or Spence. Pag lower class siya pumili or walang titulo eh mababawasan ang credibility niya as a fighter even na wala na siyang dapat patunayan dahil isa na siyang "Legend". Not unless kung ang pinili niya is mas mabigat na timbang sa kanya na champion pa .

For me, weird choice si Spence for Pacquiao... Di sa ini small ko, pero let's face it, he's 42, past his prime and is out of the ring for 25 months coming August 21... Given those circumstances, a win will further reinforce his claim as the GOAT, especially if he survives the fight impressively...

With that said, what else could Pacquiao achieve should he beat Spence?

1. Tie w/ Mayweather as the boxer with most past/present/future individual (di counted rematches) world champions defeated w/ 22. If kasali interim champions, that would make the total count 23 individuals since may W din sya against Jorge Solis...
2. Mabe break nya sarili nyang record as the oldest boxer to win a welterweight title at 42, mabe break nya rin record nya as most number of reigns as a welterweight titleholder w/ 5 (kasi wala syang belt ngayon, honorary lang yung Recess Champion)...
3. Mao obtain nya na rin yung never pa nyang na accomplish na maging Unified Champion... As an extension to this and sa previous one, record breaker din sya sa welterweight since oldest boxer to become a unified welterweight titleholder...
4. Extension ng fighting streak ni Pacquiao against past/present/future world champions na streak nya since the Morales rubber match late 2006, pag counted din interim champions, itong streak ay since 2nd Morales fight early 2006... Hawak nya yang streak na yan as the longest one... Bakit significant sya? Kasi rare yan mangyari...
5. If ever payagan ng The Ring na ibigay sa mananalo yung vacant belt nila, another tie kay Mayweather as boxer w/ most The Ring titles held at 4... Si Pacquiao na rin ang magiging 1st boxer na maging 4 division The Ring titleholder... Again, depende to sa panel ng The Ring kung papayagan nila yung belt mai linya since #1 (Spence) vs. #3 (Pacquiao) sa rankings nila to... Need mag agree ng majority ng panel na malabo mangyari yung #1 vs. #2 (Terence Crawford) sa rankings...
6. If pushed through yung previous, si Pacquiao na rin ang first boxer na maka hawak ng lahat ng recognized versions ng welterweight titles + lineal championship on different reigns...
