dahil may 5 na... convert to global na ako... credits goes to bobby prats... i did the same method pero nagcompile ako ng sarili kong files.
base on .122 firmware.

*DOESN'T matter what firmware version you have.
*download files(nasa baba) and install MINIMAL ADB to your PC
*delete and disable all account and security(fingerprint,passcode,pin code)
*ALWAYS enable Developer mode and enable USB debugging after flashing.
1. power off device and boot to fasrboot mode (Power button + Volume UP)
2. plug usb at the side black port to your computer
and flash the RAW firmware - (a. extract MRO... and open
b. run (double click) zs661ks_raw_flashall
c. wait for about 10mins and adb stops working...its done.
*Unlocking bootloader and Rooting
3. install Unlock bootloader app to your device
4. connect to the internet...open the app,put check and agree. then tap "unlock bootloader".(this will factory reset your device)
5. copy root_122.img and paste it to Minimal ADB folder then run adb(double tap cmd)
6. turn off device and boot to fastboot mode...plug usb at the side black port.
7. at the adb shell type
fastboot flash boot root_122.img [ENTER]
8. wait for the device to reboot
9. install Magisk and Root explorer
10. connect to internet
11. open Root explorer and tap Grant
12. go to Root folder - Vendor - factory - country then edit the file and change it to WW...save
13. done
*to relock boot loader
1. turn off device boot on fastboot mode
2. plug usb on side Black port of the device to your PC
3. run cmd on minimal adb folder
4. copy boot.img paste it on minimal adb folder
5. on cmd type
fastboot flash boot boot.img [ENTER]
fastboot oem asus-lock [ENTER]
6. done
*Update Firmware (this will disable ROOT access)
1. download latest Firmware at official asus download page
2. put the downloaded firmware to phone's internal storage
3. restart device,after booting up... an update notifications pops up then tap it.
4. phone reboots and finish the update process
