I started computerchess last 2004 and retired on 2014; been a part of chess engine development and testing 24/7. It's an expensive hobby for addicts like me he he due to keeping up with the hardware requirements and non-stop cpu usage. So just use it as needed. The best part is enjoying the rewards of winning or losing, especially in World competitions using hardware and software against the best in the world. Yet, this is still an addon to train the human brain to play chess better. A new generation of chess players already took advantage of this, including YOU if you try.

I'll just provide the basics that I missed in Part 1.

Computerchess needs an interface/GUI, a chess program/engine, and chess accessories. Examples of GUIs are given in Part 1 but the most common free software is Arena GUI: You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now. . Chess engine on the other hand are divided in two most commonly used protocols, Winboard and UCI to communicate with the GUI. Utilities and accessories are GUI+chess engine related like engine protocol adapters, opening books, chess game databases (like pgn, scid...), endgame databases/tablebases/bitbases/generators, elo raters, tournament managers, book maker/converter/adapter...an endless line of options for the user either commercially available or free. Chessbase provides their propriety softwares like Chessbase, Fritz, etc...Others are Chess Assistant, Lokasoft's Chess Partner, ChessOK Aquarium....
Before starting on this hobby, it is a must to understand the basics on how we utilize available chess softwares related to this technology, or else find an AIO chess application to play online or offline.
Give time to visit, read, study, and be involved on these links.
This is just a continuation for those who already know about chess and wants to take advantage of learning more using available technology like the common desktop PC. I'll just add options for mobile devices upon request as I don't use them at present. Sorry!

Dito sa baba yung customized installer and portable version for PC with option to use your favorite WB/UCI engines with provided adapters and links. Just follow the instructions there. Subukan ninyong buksan yung ibang expired links sa archive.org in case buhay yung service nila. Naka-save yan sa kanilang database when I last checked.

Bonus!
Become a good chess player after 21 days daw he he! Ebooks + PGN for training. Kailangan mo lang ng pdf/pgn viewer. Not bad for a ~20mb package. Worth the time!

Over 1500 Chess Books: magnet link only (~18GB)

(Just choose which ones you need to DL in your torrent GUI to save on space.)

UPDATE 4/20/2021: Maia Chess

This is just a repository of 9 final maia models (as of this period) saved as Leela Chess neural networks, from 1100 - 1900 elo. It's good for training and benchmarking level of chess knowledge for beginners to average players. You'll need LC0 to play with it in android or PC. Just follow the instructions here.

From the github link, you can create your own training network using your own games, creating a training data similar to yourself! Look into the "Move Prediction" instruction. Links are provided there.
You'll need the trainingdata-tool - tool to generate You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now. training data. Its useful for You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now. from PGN games, different from the normal unsupervised learning and training data of LC0 that you use from 3rd party sources. This is just an extra feature for computerchess literate users/enthusiasts, familiar with LC0. I can't compile the trainingdata-tool at the moment since my MingW version is not compatible with the Boost libraries needed in the code. I just got one from #forbidden#. Feel free to try on Windows platform.

Follow the guide here: You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.
Make sure your pgn is fully commented with evaluation scores, etc. like the ones on lichess. Please read the hints here, if it may help: You do not have permission to view the full content of this post. Log in or register now.. You need to be familiar with using pgn-extract, chess artist, uci analyzer to keep up with this work.

(Sorry po kung ma-nosebleed kayo sa paggamit nito he he! Sulit naman kung makuha ninyo. If not, just use LC0 the normal way.)
....
There are others using python+dependencies but one best option without using LC0 is using any NNUE chess engine to acquire a supervised training data using your custom pgn games with this one:

Generally, its for Stockfish NNUE versions. I haven't tried it on other NNUE engines. If you're interested, pls read discussions about it here:

You're welcome. 'Musta rin Ma'am Sophie! Mahilig ka rin ng computerchess? Tagal mo rin nawala klasmeyt, panahon pa ni xxjaguarxx at ni KAPITAN ng UDPTeam he he...nice to be back!

See your around!

Shredder Chess Tutor step 1, 2, and 3:

Doble gastos at pagod.

Tama ka. Yan yung isa sa mga unang attempts ng some form of neural AI na preferred noon ng Capstone. Yang grandmaster chess ay licensed to Intracore/Capstone software na designed for IBM PC. Siya rin yung gumawa ng simple interface ng GC to play with, and Intracore added the cosmetics and sounds, etc. for commercial distribution by Capstone. Yung special feature na yan ay gumagamit ng limited form of "learning from mistakes" using "persistent hash table" para di na maulit. Parte yan noong Zarkov 2.5 engine's "selective search" improvement noon.

Engine vs Engine Android

Sayang bulag pa.
Ako nga bulag din. Kahit thread ko di ko makita spoilers he he, except sa last posts.
Nasa spoilers kasi mga "commercial" softwares, sorry. Pinuslit ko lang hanggang buhay pa.
Sa gamestracker.org, nasa list nila yang Chess Tutor ng Shedderchess pero torrent kasama pati ibang chess softwares like ChessOK Aquarium, Chess King, Peshka courses, atbp. Utorrent lang at ilang minuto, kuha mo na yan at may live seeds/peers pa.
