The Steps to Follow for Creating a TRC20 Token
- Install the TRONLink wallet’s Chrome plugin either on browsers like Google Chrome or Brave by clicking on the Add to Chrome button.
- Update the environment to the Shasta testnet.
- Create an account for issuing the tokens.
- Determine the token name, the symbol, and the total supply.
- Press the create wallet option.
- A minimum of 10 TRX needs to be present in your account.
- Make sure you enter details such as the token name, token symbol, and the total supply in the contract code.
- Deploy the TRONScan tool for installing the TRC20 contract.
- Upload the contract code and compile the contract.
- Click the confirm button to deploy the contract using TRONBox.
- The TRONLink signature dialog box will appear on the screen and record the contract address as mentioned.
- Add the tokens to the TRONLink.
- The homepage of the contract can also be accessed via TRONScan.
- The contract will be successfully validated after submitting details like the contract address, contract name, compiler version and License.
- The information you enter must match with that of the TRC20 contract.
- A popup dialog box will be displayed asking for the confirmation of token issuance.
- Click the confirm button and enter signature via the TRONLink popup.
- The token will be successfully recorded.
- Register the token to TRONScan.
- Install the TRONWeb tool for integrating the token contract and for initiating the transfer of tokens.
