I'm only slow because I am working on MXQ boxes right now and they are very slow I will check it later. Right now I figured out how to make these boxes upgrade to Android 8 so I will make a thread about that later.

Yes. I'd recommend armbian instead of ubuntu but there is ubuntu mate for them. On the allwinner boxes look for images made for orange pi, those usually boot on them. For rockchip look for ones that work on rk3228a.
