Just for Awareness Sating Philhealth Policyholders/Beneficiaries.
PhilHealth, you are literally scamming your members! My nephew was born on Feb. 22 and was discharged on Feb. 26. On the same day, he was rushed to the emergency Pediatric ICU of another hospital where his Pediatrician is a resident. My brother-in-law’s Philhealth ρáíd only 5k+ to the first hospital which charged him 27k, and guess what, the second hospital said no more Philheath credit for him since the hospitalization hasn’t reached the 24 hours rule to be covered again. Their rule requires all patients to wait 24 hours to be admitted again or else you won’t get covered. Now, we have a running bill of 70K. My brother-in-law has been paying Philhealth since 2004, that’s 21 years of funds and has updated payment shares. Whoever is...

Fake News Daw
Filipino media personality Richard Foronda Heydarian received criticism on social media after a statement he made during an interview, in which he compared Mindanao's living conditions to a Sub-Saharan African level. However, Heydarian addressed the issue on his Facebook page, condemning trolls for twisting his words. During the interview, Heydarian mentioned that he came from the northern part of the country, where the Human Development Index is comparable to that of Southern Europe. In contrast, he claimed that Mindanao’s Human Development Index was at a Sub-Saharan African level. | via SunStar Cebu Commercial:

| via Patricia Lopez, IBC 13 https://vimeo.com/1062665376
Paalala: Huwag Basta-Bastang Maniwala Sa Fake News
I was just watching videos on FB/Meta when a sponsored advertisement appeared. The title itself may catch the general public's attention especially those who are considered the "working class citizens". The ad, when clicked, will open a link that 'seems like" an article from INQUIRER. But the truth is, this is a FAKE ARTICLE and is clearly a diversion aiming of to regain the public trust amid impeachment complaint against Sara Duterte. PressONE.PH posted a fact-check article 7 days ago, and these #FakeNewsSpreadingShits yet re-posted the same shit today. Beware! Huwag magpapalinlang.
Another PNP Cover-up.
OMG! THIS IS AN EXPLOSIVE STORY... Clearly shows that PNP CHIEF MARBIL is not in command of his own turf. Because as it turned out, the 14-year old kidnap victim from the British School Manila was NOT RESCUED by our authorities, but was turned over to his family after a ransom of almost P60 MILLION was ρáíd. And there other compelling issues here, aside from Marbil being clueless of what really happened. 1. The head of the Anti-Kidnapping Group Col Elmer Ragay was sacked from his position. 2. The report said a TOP GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL and several high ranking POLICE OFFICERS are Involved. 3. A businessman friend of the family was said to have arranged the $1 MILLION ransom payment. 4. There appears to be a MASSIVE as to what...
Yun Nangyayari Sa Pali-ligid Hindi Po Minsan Concern Ng Iba Says Ante Kler.
'YUNG NANGYAYARI SA PALI-PALIGID HINDI PO MINSAN CONCERN NG IBA' Sinabi ni Palace Press Officer Usec. Claire Castro na maganda kung maisama sa pag-aaral ng mga estudyante ang kasalukuyang pangyayari sa bansa upang maging aware ang mga ito. "May mga ordinaryong tao na hindi concern ang nangyayari sa paligid natin. Mas preferred nila na manood ng mga katatawanan even that will make them happy, that will make them smile," dagdag ni Castro. Aniya, mas maganda kung ma-involve ang mga kabataan sa mga nangyayari sa bansa. #News5 📸: RTVM/Youtube https://www.facebook.com/News5Everywhere/videos/1440209396953983/?mibextid=rS40aB7S9Ucbxw6v
Philippines Denies China's Claim on Palawan as 'Zheng He Island'
Recent claims on Chinese social media suggest that Palawan was historically part of China and was called “Zheng He Island” after the 15th-century Chinese explorer. However, Philippine authorities and historians have strongly rejected this, stating there is no historical or legal basis for such a claim. The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) emphasized that Zheng He’s voyages do not equate to sovereignty. Former Supreme Court Justice Antonio Carpio also debunked the claim, stating there is no evidence that Zheng He ever visited the Philippines. The Philippine Coast Guard has labeled the narrative as disinformation, warning that it could be used to justify further territorial incursions. The public has reacted with...
Elon Musk denies hostile government takeover in surprise White House appearance
The agency has been criticised by Democrats who have accused it of a lack of transparency, and its efforts have also been hampered by legal challenges. But Musk, who was questioned by reporters for the first time since Trump took office last month, described sweeping government cuts as "common sense" measures that are "not draconian or radical". "The people voted for major government reform and that's what the people are going to get," he said. "That's what democracy is all about." Mass Resignation Of 400 Engineers
(“Engineers are highly sought because their skills are in demand… So naturally, they receive offers from the private sector with better salaries, and they can no...

'KAPWA PILIPINO NATIN ANG CPP-NPA' During GMA's Tanong ng Bayan senatorial face-off on Saturday, February 1, 2025, senatorial candidate Teddy Casiño was asked why he is not vocal in condemning the alleged atrocities of the CPP-NPA, given accusations linking some progressive groups, including Bayan Muna, to the communist group. Casiño responded that while the government has labeled the group as "terrorists," they are still Filipinos advocating for the country’s betterment. He acknowledged that while many oppose their methods, progressive groups align with their cause rather than stand in opposition. "Dapat hindi silang tratuhing terorista. Dapat hindi silang tratuhing kaaway," Casiño emphasized. 📷Screenshot from GMA News

Denmark bans phones in primary and secondary schools
Its long-awaited report, published on Tuesday, raised the alarm over the digitisation of children and young people’s lives and called for a better balance between digital and analogue life. The minister for children and education, Mattias Tesfaye, told Politiken: “There is a need to reclaim the school as an educational space, where there is room for reflection and where it is not an extension of the teenage bedroom.” The chair of the commission, Rasmus Meyer, compared the mobile phone ban to not allowing smo̾king in schools and said that the moment a child is given a smartphone “it will colonise the child’s entire life”.
