Streaming services are becoming to go-to entertainment of Filipinos, especially this COVID-19 pandemic. An independent comparison platform reported that the Philippines ranks fourth among countries with the most number of people that have at least one subscription to a streaming service. Based on a global survey conducted by Finder.com, 62% of Filipino adults have at least one streaming service, which is above the global average of 56%. Philippines lands on dreaded dirty money list anew
MANILA, Philippines — Global money laundering and terrorist financing watchdog Financial Action Task Force (FATF) has placed anew the Philippines and three more countries on a gray, list, or those under increased monitoring after failing to address strategic deficiencies to counter money laundering as well as terrorist and proliferation financing.
