If you want to have your own WiFi, you ask yourself first if this will fit on my budget and how many users will be using the WiFi. In my case, we are only 4 people who will be using the wifi and I'm on a tight budget so I choose GFiber Prepaid over Converge Surf2Sawa, why?

Here's why :
• Gfiber Prepaid only cost PHP999 for the modem and it is a free of charge for installation and no processing fee.
• Once you applied for GFiber Prepaid you'll get a free 7 Days free unli internet. Not bad right? Like a free trial!
• Speed cap up to 50Mpbs.

For Converge Surf2Sawa :
• Converge Surf2Sawa cost PHP1,000 for the modem and it's free of charge for installation and no processing fee HOWEVER, they don't offer free internet or free trial so you have to pay PHP700 to have the 1 month unli internet.
• Speed cap up to 30Mbps.

So, it is pretty obvious that Globe GFiber is more affordable but reliable internet because the speed is up to 50Mbps unlike Surf2Sawa only up to 30Mbps.

See pictures below for Globe and Converge Prepaid Internet Plans.

For Globe Gfiber Prepaid;
PHP999 only for the modem plus you'll get 7 days free internet so you can already enjoy the internet for 7 days and after 7 days that is the time you need to subscribe to their internet plans.(PHP699 for 30Days)- 50Mbps speed.

For Converge Surf2Sawa;
PHP1000 only for the modem but no internet yet that is why you have to pay PHP700 for the 1 month unli internet but cap up to 30Mbps only.

This is both "WIRED" internet connection, it means that there's a fiber wire connected to your modem which provides stable connection, this is not SIGNAL based.

If you're planning to get Globe Gfiber you can use this code JAKE2904 to have another 7 days free internet, this means that once your modem is activated you'll have 7 days free internet and if you use this code you will have another 7 days free internet, a total of 14 days free internet, that means you don't have to load or subscribe to their plans yet. Then after 14 Days that is the time to load the modem for PHP699 for 1 month.

Code : JAKE2904

The benefits of having PREPAID WiFi instead of POSTPAID WiFi is that prepaid WiFi doesn't have any contract and 50Mbps isn't bad for 6-8 devices connected at the same time. I'm my case, 6 devices is connected at the same time but no any issue.

Tip.
Once modem is activated, access the admin page and change the 2.4G channel to channel (11) and channel (116) for the 5G. The higher the frequency channel the faster the internet speed so change also the channel width for 2.4G (40Mhz) and for 5G (80Mhz).

Web hosting is a service that allows organizations and individuals to post a website or web page onto the Internet. A web host, or web hosting service provider, is a business that provides the technologies and services needed for a website or webpage to be viewed on the Internet. Websites are hosted, or stored, on special computers called servers.

When Internet users want to view your website, all they need to do is type your website address or domain into their browser. Their computer will then connect to your server, and your webpages will be delivered to them through the browser.

When it comes to web hosting companies based on the number of hosted websites, GoDaddy has established itself as a clear market dominator. According to HostAdvice, GoDaddy has covered over 19% of the market, leaving a not-so-significant market share to other hosting providers such as Google Cloud Platform, 1&1, Amazon Web Services, and Cloudflare.

According to Builtwith, GoDaddy has also managed to become a world dominator when it comes to providing VPS web hosting. GoDaddy’s market share in this segment counts for over 23%, whereas its closest competitors, such as DreamHost and Digital Ocean, cover 1.46% and 1.23% of the market share, respectively.
Salamat TS.

  • How about sa gaming goods din ba?

  • Meron LAN port po ba or pwede gawaan ng LAN port sa login? YES (open all lan ports by default)
  • Tapos may IPv6 support po ba sa clients? Lan: YES. Wan: No (so useless din kung walang IPv6 sa wan)
  • How about sa gaming goods din ba? Yes
