If you want to have your own WiFi, you ask yourself first if this will fit on my budget and how many users will be using the WiFi. In my case, we are only 4 people who will be using the wifi and I'm on a tight budget so I choose GFiber Prepaid over Converge Surf2Sawa, why?

Here's why :
• Gfiber Prepaid only cost PHP999 for the modem and it is a free of charge for installation and no processing fee.
• Once you applied for GFiber Prepaid you'll get a free 7 Days free unli internet with a speed cap of up to 50Mbps. Not bad right?

For Converge Surf2Sawa :
• For the modem it cost of PHP1000 plus PHP700 for the 1 month load unli internet with a speed cap of up to 30Mbps. It is free of charge for installation and no processing fee.

So, it is pretty obvious that Globe GFiber is more affordable but reliability internet because the speed is up to 50Mbps unlike Surf2Sawa only up to 30Mbps.

See pictures below for Globe and Converge Prepaid Internet Plans..

For Globe Gfiber Prepaid;
Php999 only for the modem plus 7 days free internet so you can enjoy the internet for 7 days and after 7 days that is the time you need to load it for 1 month which cost you Php 699 with a speed cap up to 50Mbps.

For Converge Surf2Sawa;
Php1000 only for the modem but no internet yet that is why you have to pay Php700 for the 1 month unli internet but cap up to 30Mbps only.

This is both "WIRED" internet connection, it means that there's a fiber wire connected to your modem which provides stable connection, this is not SIGNAL based.

If you're planning to get Globe Gfiber you can use this code JAKE2904 to have another 7 days free internet so if the modem is activated you'll have 7 days free internet and if you use this code you will have another 7 days free a total of 14 days free internet, that means you don't have to load your modem yet. Then after 14 Days that is the time to load the modem for Php699 for 1 month.

Code : JAKE2904

Let me know if the modem is activated because we need also to set up the best channel for faster speed.

Did you know?

Web hosting is a service that allows organizations and individuals to post a website or web page onto the Internet. A web host, or web hosting service provider, is a business that provides the technologies and services needed for a website or webpage to be viewed on the Internet. Websites are hosted, or stored, on special computers called servers.

When Internet users want to view your website, all they need to do is type your website address or domain into their browser. Their computer will then connect to your server, and your webpages will be delivered to them through the browser.

When it comes to web hosting companies based on the number of hosted websites, GoDaddy has established itself as a clear market dominator. According to HostAdvice, GoDaddy has covered over 19% of the market, leaving a not-so-significant market share to other hosting providers such as Google Cloud Platform, 1&1, Amazon Web Services, and Cloudflare.

According to Builtwith, GoDaddy has also managed to become a world dominator when it comes to providing VPS web hosting. GoDaddy’s market share in this segment counts for over 23%, whereas its closest competitors, such as DreamHost and Digital Ocean, cover 1.46% and 1.23% of the market share, respectively.
GFiber looks good, depende nalang talaga kung alin ang mas reliable sa area. nyo. Question lang, yung gfiber prepaid ba may limit sa number of devices na pwedeng mag connect? open ba yung lan port ng modem?

Nice baka by end of contract mag switch na ako dyan.
