Opinyon niyo mga lods? Me nabasa along article before na mas mahal kung i-rerenovate/re-structure ang current Plant gawa nga ng sobrang luma na ito at mas magandang magtayo nalang ng bago. Tingin niyo?

Alam nyo po ba na man made disaster yun kasi hindi sinunod ng in-charge ang proper protocol for shutting down the power plant.

Kung natuloy lang sana ang Bataan Nuclear Power Plant, we could've been the country atleast in Asia with the lowest electric bill in the late 2000s. Economy should have boomed due to attractive low cost manufacturing that could have been offered to various foreign investors. We could have been like South Korea now who copied our economic reforms in the past. Our country was once identified as a rising economic tiger in the past. Mayaman na sana tayo ngayon. Too many what ifs nang dahil sa mga gahaman na tao.

[XX='JMDragon26, c: 363633, m: 1738908'][/XX] kuya opo tama po kayo about sa protocol pero alam mo rin naman na flawed yung design ng reactor diba? Im not even trying to argue here. Nuclear reactor is a very goooooddddd source of energy. What I'm just saying here is sa lagay natin ngayon in my opinion, hindi pa tayo handa lalong-lalo na kung gobyerno ang magpapatayo pero kung private mas maganda pero still not ready.Tnx

[XX='Yamite UWU, c: 363695, m: 326933'][/XX] Trust me I am a Licensed Chemist. What is the use of the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute. We are training and sending our scientists abroad to study and learn these stuffs. Akala mo decorations lang sila? We are ready. Mark my word coming from the scientific community which i massively doubt you belonged.

Pinagbebenta at binagbigay nya sa allies nya as way of compensation and rewards nung nakuha na nya ang presidency.

[XX='Fried Rice, c: 353662, m: 671488'][/XX] Why is it na laging may kaakibat na politika ang mga bagay bagay? Are we not allowed to avail of such sustainable technology if nauna nang naisip ng kalaban natin?

[XX='JMDragon26, c: 363736, m: 1738908'][/XX] This will gonna be my last reply. Nope, I'll listen to what my professors say which are part of ahm, yes, the scientific community. I know you guys are hard working and sabi mo nga ridi, walang problema don. Nagwoworry ako sa infrastructure part which is too bad nga lang na as a professional it seems na hindi mo makuha yung punto ko. Goodnight

Maybe your professors are half baked academicians. And judging by how you see this issue tells a whole lot about how they thought their students. If we all follow your train of thoughts of not trusting the capabilities of your fellow Filipinos, then should we all stagnate in our current situation? Maybe all you've learned from school is a bunch of trashy ideas that is why you are not seeing a better future. Piece of advice, dreams should not stay as mere dreams. Strive to make it into a reality.

[XX='awinahe, c: 356302, m: 58492'][/XX] Read another reference about nuclear power generation.

[XX='JMDragon26, c: 364083, m: 1738908'][/XX] ano ibig sabihin mo? lol

[XX='JMDragon26, c: 364071, m: 1738908'][/XX] I lived in France for many years. For your information, France is the country that use the most nuclear energy in the world. 75 percent of electricity come from nuclear power... I worked in an hospital built not very far from a nuclear plant, we had to learn a great deal about nuclear energy and its risks!
So go read yourself some good materials about this topic if you know how to! Especially about radioactive wastes.
[XX='Lautir_21, c: 358800, m: 550181'][/XX] FYI, I'm living on 75 percent solar since 2012, I did not wait for government to decide for me what to do!

You think all (or most) of the reasons why philippines is in abysmal situation is due to us not having any nuclear power plant at all? You truly believe that any savings that companies made by paying less electricity will be passed on to workers? Hate to break it to you, it won't happen.

You don't have to look that far. Agriculture is the foundation of any developed countries which does not require any fancy power infrastructure. All you need is to look at the pitiful conditions of our poor farmers. Bago umunlad ang isang bansa, you should be able to feed your people first. Are they being looked after? They are neglected by past, present & most likely future administrations as well.

Why don't we just forget all those nonsense and just accept the fact that we are in abysmal situation due to us being not that being creative and progressive thinkers?

In short, hindi sagot ang fancy nuclear power plant. Lalo pa nga't wala tayong history ng maayos at kalidad na proyekto at technical skills. Kukurakutin lang yan which will result to an extremely dangerous infrastructure.
