For those na nag hanap ng alternative links, most of the time, ka pareho ng programming ng international channel feeds dito sa atin yung sa Indonesia, Singapore or Malaysia (aka South East Asia feed). Difference lang usually sa subtitles and sa commercials.

Those with access sa cable channels involved can verify.

Changing the Kodi version won't fix buffering. If your connection is not fast enough you will always have that problem. Other than connection speed the other problem is peering/routing. If your ISP does not have good routes to abroad you will get buffering when you watch channels without local servers. VPN helps because you can route it through other servers that will have better peering. PLDT has really good peering already so I don't have problems without VPN most of the time. Most ρáíd VPNs have their Philippines server at ip-converge which is owned by PLDT so it should have good routes to outside, as long as your ISP is peering at PHOpenIX. You can see their list here.
