🎓 Academic Why is it important to make compounds stable?

good day mga sir ask ko lang to bakit mahalaga ang stable compounds? I know na need ng 8 electrons sa outermost shell para maging stable and pwede to maachieve through ionic and covalent bonds pero ano importance nito mga sir? Once na stable na sila ano na meron? hahaha pa help naman medyo dead end na ako eh

siguro para hindi na siya magiging reactive under different conditions. Hazardous din yung mga unstable compounds, since a lot of them are highly combustible even at room temperature.
