Hello po! Share ko lang experience ko. Bumili po kasi ako ng wifi vendo na may kasama nang smart corpo sim brand new lahat. three weeks palang ginagamit biglang nakatay sya. sinaksak ko sa cp ko yung sim hindi na ma-on yung data nya pero may signal pa sya. Buti nalang pinalitan nung seller yung sim. Tingin ko 100GB yung capping nya kasi nag-download ako ng Call of Duty: Warzone which is 125GB natapos agad in 5 hours then nagamit ko pa yung net ko ng 1-2 hrs after that. Tapos ayun, biglang nawala yung net. So ngayon medyo careful nako sa pag-DL ng files or games.

Credits sa kabilang forum. mostly natamaan dito 1500 Smart Enterprise, except 1500 PLDT SME and SmartBRO/SmartBiz 1889
Be aware that what you have is a SIM that is registered under a company name that may not be aware that you have it.

It was probably fraudulently applied by an employee who is making money off the company they are employed under by "renting" it out to you.

So 1500/month goes to Smart & 500/month goes to the bad employee. If either you or the employee misses a payment then the account name holder is liable.

Due to this abuse Smart decided to end the unlimited call/text/data Plan 1500 starting August 1 2020. I was able to apply for some of these accounts before that deadline for legit use.

These unethical employees do this as that SIM has no contract so they can terminate at any time.

It appears that the employee you dealt with ran away with your money with their former employers having to deal with paying the possibly hundreds of SIM cards they applied for under their company name.

The legal issues for the account name holder are the following

* If the end user (you) were to make phone calls or send text or post îllégâl things then the account name holder is liable for your actions.

Example: You call/text you ex-gf and threaten to do a crime against her. She can report the mobile # to Smart, NTC, PNP or NBI that someone is threatening a crime against them. When Smart is asked to disclose who owns the mobile # then the company name will show up.

Company will be summoned to haer there side about it. The company will be surprised for the following reasons

  • What's this Plan 1500 account?
  • Who applied for this Plan 1500 account?
  • Didn't the signatory resign some months ago?

We had a similar problem before by a resigned employee who did not return their SIM & handset to the company. Accounting blindly kept paying for it until I looked over each and every mobile phone and internet account.

We immediately had the account terminated and demanded that the telco tell us which barangay where the SIM was located. They will not disclose without court order even if it's under your company name.

My looking into the PLDT, Globe, Smart and Converge accounts save the company over 90% of bills for the following reasons.

  • All previous signatories are non-IT people who never renewed internet accounts. So phased out expensive plans from 2010 or earlier was being kept. Reduced them all to plan 1699 with 5x more Mbps.
  • All mobile accounts did not have text/calls/data bundles tailor made for each user's use case
  • Outsourced all co-hosting services to AWS & other cloud-based services. If it's good enough for the CIA, Netflix and the US military then it is good enough for me.

Sarap ng feeling ng nakatipid ng ganun kalaki
