• Use long alphanumeric passwords. The password ‘abcdefg’ gets cracked in 0.29 milliseconds. A strong password should consist of alphanumerical characters with special symbols. Some people even use hashes as their passwords.
• Enable 2FA on everything you can. Enabling 2-factor authentication will bring you another level of security, as you need to check every login with your phone. It’s also worth noting that the best way to do so is by using an authenticator app, as text messages may be unsafe, due to social engineers trying to get access to your SMS’s via your provider.
