reasons on creating the Proclamation No. 1081 stated by Marcos himself:

1. was a response to various leftist and rightist plots against the Marcos administration;
2. was just the consequence of political decay after American-style democracy failed to take root in Philippine society; and
3. was a reflection of Filipino society's history of authoritarianism and supposed need for iron-fisted leadership

the causes of these reasons:

1. Chinese funded NPA
2. Civil unrest
3. Foreign loans

What caused civil unrest?
Yung mga utang na nangyari through Edifice Complex, large-scale infrastructure projects na di mabayaran, this caused peso to devalue.(Bye bye pamasahe sa eroplano na worth 20 pesos haha)

Sino nag take advantage nito?
Chinese funded NPA(Mao Zedong, People's war doctrine)

for me, I blame Imelda Marcos for her incompetent spending on Edifice Complex.
