Tired of getting only Edge signal strength? Here is a simple trick to get a higher connection type. Go to settings>wireless and networks>mobile networks. Choose network mode then choose wcdma only. Now, you will get the best possible signal wherever you go.

It still depends on the location. Kasi kapag pumupunta kami sa province walang 3G connection dun eh, pero malakas ang EDGE (gsm).
