Kumuha po kasi ako ng passport noong feb 28 then march 16 po ajg release pero naabutan ng lockdown kaya diko po nakuha tapos last may 18 nag txt po sakin na pwede na kunin pero dahil wala masakyan diko po makuha ngayon po bukas sana gusto ko kunin dapat parin puba sundin ang time na binigay nung txt? may work din po kasi ako di pwede absent at ilang mos poba pwede itagal sa dfa ng passport ko dikaya ma forfeit dahil sa tagal ng di naclaim?

maiintindihan naman nila iyan. pero mas maganda kunin mo na baka mamaya may penalty or what pa yan.

60days ata yung palugit pag dimo naclaim, no need na sundin yung time basta puntahan mo nalang kung kailan ka available

AFTER APPLYING FOR A PHILIPPINE PASSPORT:

1. Applicant shall bring the passport receipt for release of their passport. In case of lost passport receipt an Affidavit of Loss is required.
2. Check if all the data on the passport are correct before leaving the Consular Office.
3. For applicants 13 years old and above, immediately affix the signature on the third page of the passport booklet upon receipt of the passport. For minors 12 years old and below, leave it blank.
4. If the applicant cannot personally claim his/her passport, an immediate family member or an authorized representative shall present an Authorization Letter or a Special Power of Attorney respectively, to claim the passport in behalf of the applicant. Both documents should contain the name and photocopy of the ID of the authorized individual.
5. Passports unclaimed after one hundred and eighty (180) days will be cancelled per Department Order No. 37-03.
6. Do not staple anything on the passport booklet especially the covers as it may damage the electronic chip and render the epassport unreadable.

Applicants will be given two notices to claim their passports in order to avoid being classified as inactive. The first notice will be sent to the applicant if, after one (1) month from the passport’s scheduled date of release, the passport remains unclaimed. Should the applicant continue to fail to claim his/her passport despite the first notice, the second and final notice will be sent one (1) month before the lapse of the six-month period.
