okay para sakin ha. Religion only was made because, we humans, are naturally afraid of the unknown and our ancestors way of dealing with existential dread like our purpose in life and where we came from. Thats it. Pero ngayon, makikita naman natin religion is nothing but a hindrance nalang for our societal advancement. Ma stuck lang tayo sa kalagayan natin ngayon as a society since we all know naman na science and religion arent good friends. Just my two cents lang<3 Peace

There may be no objective standard which religion is by far superior to others or whether it is still relevant in the modern world and humanity is still struggling to seek how to determine it. However, regardless of whether there is religion or not, conflict will arise in different aspects of life. Thus, the assumption that the world will be less divisive and more peaceful if we get rid of religion is over-optimistic, plain ignorant, and simply stupid. In reality, the opposite happened.
If you look back not very far in the history, during the 20th century (the Nazi Germany on the right, and the Soviet Union on the left), those were founded in the idea that they don't need religion because their race is superior (the narrative of the right) and the bourgeoisie is taking advantage of the proletariat in guise of compassion to the oppressed (narrative of the left) which resulted to millions of stacked up corpses and an almost annihilation of human civilization.
I don't deny that there are religious people who continue to kill and create conflict to other people, but the religious intellectuals condemned those who claimed unreasonable religious superiority and justify evil acts in the name of their religion. Those are classified and boxed out as fundamentalist. The problem, however, is the radical atheists who want to overthrow religion and make it irrelevant to the material world which claimed that religious truths are inapplicable to the modern era and scientific facts are the most appropriate and relevant in pursuing a better future. That is purely absurd and arrogant to its core and must be condemned and be treated like the religious fundamentalists.
Let's draw a clear line what is reasonable and appropriate because if we take history seriously, it is so obvious that we can go too far when our self-proclivity manifested. History has already demonstrated the results of religious fundamentalism and radical atheism. The fact that we can create hell when humanity goes too far, is the realization that we can avoid it if we take it in balance. "Those who do not know history are destined to repeat it" -Edmund Burke.
In my conclusion, you don't invalidate the whole if you don't agree to some portions of the whole. You don't burn the whole house if some lights in your house don't work. The existence of intellectual atheists is important to regulate the religious fundamentalists, as well as to religious intellectuals to regulate the radical atheists. That's the ideal scenario and I think the right path to pursue rather than the annihilation or destruction of one versus the other.

The thing about religion for me is to have a spiritual energy where as you can have some motivation to move further and live a good life.
