🔒 Closed PLDT Home Prepaid Wifi SCAM! Speed is fast when it's new but slows down as months pass by

Hi all!

Im just new here. I bought this PLDT Home Prepaid Wifi last year and it was very fast, it even got to 10-15mbps. After that free 10gb, the speed started to slow down. And know, Im luck I even get to 1mbps. Does anyone here have a häçk to make the speed fasters? Im pretty sure there are settings for this. I already tried changing the APN but still not thing changed.

try to consider this time that all people are at home using their mobiles, gadgets, etc. to connect internet you're not alone with that kind of speed, if that is via wired possibly there is no problem because it has a dedicated speed unlike to other uses sim cards. hope you find a solution for that. I agree about this though and also thought of it.. but this is actually not the first time I experienced this.. Ever since the Free 10gb was used up, I never got the same speed back. So, I was thinking they might have changed something automatically in the settings/configurations via a firmware upgrade once the free 10gb was used up

Same situation here sir. I bought a second hand one and this is much more inconsistent and considerably slower compared to my EVOLUZN pocket wifi I previously owned.

ever heard the term data cap and throttling?
bypassing data cap is hard to get by nowadays...
just change your isp with the one that provides unlimited bandwidth...

With the current PLDT status of network in my location, somehow I can relate, dahil during the testing period (10GB Free) namin for the Internet Speed, sobrang bilis talaga ng download and upload speed, it was ranging from 5-10mbps Download and 15-20mbps Upload.

However after mo ma consume yung FREE 10GB Data nila internet speed will slow down ranging from 1-3mbps both download and upload.

I've searched some informations (CREDITS TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNER) regarding the APN Settings and try this one out, its working on my end

APN Profile Name: PLDT1
APN Name: ns1.smartbro.net
IP Type: IPV4
