So... where are the expected measures? What about the test kits? What about acknowledging the job of the UP scientists? What about acknowledging the job of all medical practitioners?

He said himself that he does not know anything about this veerus.
He told the Filipino people to listen to the doctors & to the Secretary of Health because he doesn't know anything about this pandemic. Yet, he never gave the DOH Secretary a chance to speak. What is their plan to mass test people (which is the pinaka importanteng bagay to fight the virus)?

He just appears with 2 military guys in his back like a good fascist ruler... threatening people who don't obey to be arrested... Is it martial law??

We need a MEDICAL solution mot a military one!

We needed assurance, he gave us threats. We needed hope, he gave us fear. We needed plans, he gave us a lecture. Instead of giving credit to PH scientists who had a breakthrough, he praised Bong Go and thanked China.

Some clarification about the "lockdown" of MM... (maybe clarification because with this government nothing is sure!)
So, DTI Sec Mon Lopez clarified Metro Manila “lockdown” in a text message:
1. Stores resto factories offices banks open
2. Just on flexible working arrangements
3. Cargoes food & non-food. ok to move
4. Workers can move in & out
5. Intl travel, ok. requirements to be stated in IRR

As usual, an unclear announcement of a lockdown that isn't a lockdown. Workers can still go to and fro. Supplies can still be received.

The way I see it, the only difference will be the military presence. Oh, and a lack of plan for handling the health situation during the lockdown.

Just want to remind you that if we have cheaper test kits it's thanks to the UP scientists and not to duterte who cut the DOH budget by 10 billion.
And also for your information UP scientists did not get enough budget to develop these tests so they pay from their own pockets...

UP PGC gets their budget from DOST to which was lowered for the year 2020.
health workers working for public hospital budget comes from DOH. which was also lowered this year.

its sad to hear that budgets for said agencies has been lowered. that is why we should thank them, for they still are doing their part despite lowered budget. kudos to the people doing their jobs!
