What is UDP ?
-UDP (User Datagram Protocol) is an alternative communications protocol to Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) used primarily for establishing low-latency and loss-tolerating connections between applications on the internet.
-main advantage of using UDP is that the sender can start transmitting as soon as our has fats to send without waiting for a connection to be established. It's called connection setup overhead. If the message is long, the overhead can be amortized over a large message (as done in TCP).
