Before we say stop the revocation of Abs Cbn franchise, let's understand first why is the franchise priviledge being revoked?
Googling won't explain much since the top information is all about how wrong the government is but not why is the franchise being revoked in the first place.

Here are the facts:

1. The quo warranto came upon the iissue when Abs Cbn didn't have an NTC permit for the TVplus box.
2. The franchise permit for 25 years will end in March 2020 already, even without the quo warranto it will still undergo renewal of permit.
3. Congress is the only place who approves or revoke the franchise, not the president (we are not under monarchy).
4. The franchise should be managed by the owners of the media company and not about stopping freedom of speech.
5. Franchise is not a right but a privilege thus the renewal.
6. Abs Cbn's Php 152. 44 Million tax evasion case will just be settled on Feb 27, 2020.
7. DBP has wrote off Abs Cbn's Php 1.6 Billion loans (meaning toxic loans that cannot be collected) DBP is a state owned development bank, loans that should have been a source of income of our economy.
8. Abs Cbn is still operating freely on air, where's the oppression there?
