Naalala n'yo ba yung popular chat client na ginagamit natin dati (aside sa Yahoo! Messenger) na puro text walang images?
Yung may channels na tambayan ng mga batang 90's?

In fact, some of the books I share here are from mIRC
And mind you, they have active channels, with posts every minute! Books keep adding up because of the growing
file servers. Plus: Direct links lahat so you don't need to visit the browser to download files, no file sharing
links, search any book you want!
Works with most IRC clients that support file downloads - mIRC or hexchat.

- mIRC / xdcc IRC Client like Hexchat
- May experience ka sa pag gamit ng mIRC
Part 1 - Setting up mIRC for Downloads to work (8 steps):
- Download mIRC, open and install.
- Go to Options (yung may hammer katabi ng kidlat na icon) > Connect at ilagay yung gusto mong nickname
- Options > IRC --> Check "Rejoin channel when kicked" and "Rejoin channels on connect.
- Options > DCC --> Select Auto-get file. If file exists > Resume
- Options > DCC > Ignore --> Method: Disabled and UNCHECK "Turn back on in:"
- Options > DCC > Options > On completion: UNCHECK Send, UNCHECK Get > UNCHECK Chat
- Options > Sounds > UNCHECK Enable sounds
- Options > DCC > Folders > Select folder (Desktop, Downloads, etc)
Part 2 - Downloading and searching commands from Channels
- Go to Connect
- Choose mIRC server: irc.undernet.org
- Once connected, join #books channel
- If gusto mo mag search at isend nila results sayo in a text file, type mo lang sa chatroom:
@search [keyword]
examples:
@search Lord of the Rings
@search JK Rowling
- If gusto mo mag search and isend nila results sayo through PM:
@ find [keyword] --> nakadikit ang @ kasi may user dito na find ang name lol
- After ilang seconds may dadating na text file or private message. Minsan mas matagal, depende kung ilan nag dodownload sa QUEUE. Minsan mga 1 minute bago may reply. Don't worry, this is all automated (bots)
- Pag na tanggap mo yung result, download mo ang gusto mong file by copying and pasting it to chatroom. Example, paste this:

- Done! After ilang seconds-minutes, mag start na yung download ng file! Enjoy!
