There are at least 45 sources for the life of Jesus, which include
19 early creedal sources ,
4 archaeological ,
17 non-Christian and
5 Non-New Testament Christian sources.

From this data there are
129 reported facts about his life,
His Person,
His teachings,
His death and His resurrection;
plus the disciple’s early messages about Him.

All these sources are not the same quality, but there can be little doubt of the substantial amount of material evidence for Jesus’ existence and for the numerous facts for his life .



There are at least four facts accepted as historically true by the majority of historical scholars:



These core facts are:

1. The death of Jesus due to crucifixion (Proven by historical records).
2. The subsequent experiences that the disciples were convinced were literal appearances of the risen Jesus (Psychologist believes that massive hallucination is impossible).
3. The corresponding transformation of the disciples (Documented).
4. Paul’s conversion that he also believed was from an appearance of the risen Jesus (For Paul was known as the persecutor of Christianity).
