Question:
Bakit po pinili ng Dios ang ating mundo upang paglagyan ng kanyang mga nilikha? (Why did God choose to put His creation on this earth?)
Carissa Suanco
Answer:
Dear Carissa,
God did not choose the earth to put man and other creations in it, but He intended it to be man’s dwelling place in the universe (Acts 17:26).
ACTS 17:26
And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation…
For those who think that there may be other place in the known universe that can be a second home for man, they are utterly wrong! The prepared home for humanity is another earth that will be forthcoming after the passing away of the present heaven and earth (Revelation 21:1-2).
REVELATION 21:1-2
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
