If the temple which is a mere material temple of God needed to be sanctified by the holy spirit and beautified by gold how much more mary the physical and maternal temple of the Lord of lords, the king of kings. So, mary was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit [cf. Lk 1:35] and filled with grace and divine favor [cf. Lk 1:28].
