Parasite is a dark comedy type of movie, which is to use comedy to Eรฯrรฉลกลก harsh, painful topic, in this case would be the strong differences between the rich and the poor. The movie itself potrays this very well, the big picture of a realistic world in which the poor can live alongside with rich people, but no matter what they do, even fake themselves to become one, they can never blend in. Their way of talking, walking, their scent, their behavior can never be like one; Their lifestyle has become a part of them, something that can't be erased.
The cinematography as well as the sound effects and the bgm is beautifully done in helping to create context, emotion, tension to the movie. (I'm not a professional of this field to judge about this). Plus the actors and actresses did an amazing performance as well.
The flow of the movie is subtle. Very subtle. And decent. It keeps you guessing along the way of what would happen next, but you still enjoy and giggle on every little moments the movie offers you. Don't be too surprised because there are so many plot twists as we getting to end of the movie. In the end, there is an open ending, which leaves the audiences a lot of unanswered questions, wondering how the characters' lives would change.
No one is truly bad and no one is truly good. We humans are a mixture of both of those two.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND you guys to watch this movie.
It's a refreshing touch for those who are currently kinda sick of superhero movies and remakes and sequels, prequels (
