I'am a believer all my life... have seen, felt and tasted God's love pero hanggang ngayun something baffles me about something like a loophole dyan sa book of genesis, at para sa mga extremely bookish at very concious about sa kung ano ang nassulat at kung ano ang hindi... then as if, there is no moving forward kung vague ang past.
Eto yun:
Sino at saan nanggaling ang asawa ni Cain?
Sino ang naging asawa ni Seth?

Bible scholars, theologists and everyone na knowlegeable about the bible, everyone is invited to give me some views ano man ang relihiyon nyo.
Please enlighten me but please wag sana kayo dito magtatalo-talo

Let me try to answer po.

Kung babasahin ang buong Genesis may isang malaking bagay na nawawala..... Un ay konsepto ng oras.
Ang iisang bagay doon na may konsepto ng oras ay ung 7 days creation. Which is still debatable kung ORAS BA UN NG DIYOS o ORAS NI MOSES.. (1000 Human years = 1 God day).
Maliban doon eh di na masyadong nabigyan ng pansin ung konsepto ng oras...
Oo may binibigay na Years nag buhay nila, pero mahirap parin malaman ung exact "date" kasi walang definite time.
Sa mga next book ng bible meron na silang concept ng time:
ruler's name, years, months... (Ex. In the 7th yrs of King David in the 5th month...)

So going back to Genesis, Here are some pointers to consider:

1. Ang nagsulat ng Genesis ay si Moses.
2. Sinulat nya while nasa Mt.Sinai sya habang ginagawa ng Diyos ang 10 commandment.
3. Kinukwento o pinapakita ng Diyos.
4. Hindi personal na kilala ni Moses sila Adan at Eba..
5. Si Moses din ang nagsulat ng kwento nina Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah. Job..
6. Bihira isulat ang pangalan ng mga babae.. Madalas panagalan lang ng lalaki.. Kung bakit, di ko alam.

Dahil doon, mahirap igauge kung ilan taon sila noong nag-asawa..

At dahil nga HISTORY ito, mahirap malaman kasi una, ang nagiisang writings about it ay Genesis..
At "theory" lang ung way ng mga historians para mag"make sense" ung mga bagay-bagay..

Ito ung ibang theory ng mga ibang bible scholars:

1. Kapatid ni Cain ung napangasawa nya. (highly likely kasi sila2 lang nmn tao noon).
2. Hindi nagkaroon ng defect ung anak nila (kahit magkapatid sila)kasi ung magulang nila (Adan at Eba) ay may superior genes. Kung baga puro, walang defect.. SO dahil mga "first generation" sila eh walang defect din mga magiging anak nila..
3. Maaaring bago pa magpatayan sila Cain at Abel ay madami nang anak sila Adan at Eba. May isang scene kasi sa bible na after magkasala ni Cain eh ang sinabi nya sa Diyos "baka may pumatay sakin." Which is pertaining to other people. So basically hindi silang 4 lang ung tao noong nangyari ung first murder.
4. Ung name na Arwan(ung sinasabing asawa ni Cain) ay wala sa bible. Ayon sa isang study, ung mga Jewish Leader daw kasi ay may ugali na magfill in the blanks ng mga missing piece. So "gumawa" lang sila nang name. Is it wrong?, Im not sure. Baka tama. Baka may isa sa kanilang nakausap ang Diyos. To be honest, i dont know.
5. Hindi sya "incest" kasi si Eba ay mula sa tadyang ni Adan.
6. Same theory goes with Seth.

Fiction lang ang bibliya parang Harry Potter. Historically inaccurate at scientifically implausible ang mga nakasulat dun. Hindi nagexist sina Adam at Eve kaya hindi rin totoo sina Abel at Cain. At hindi sa dalawang tao lang nagmula ang lahat ng mga tao sa mundo. Imposible un ayon sa science.

Consider this:
(I am not attaching any biblical references to quantify what I am writing.)

The book of Genesis was written in the time when people only count the "Men". All the lineage are based on the "Men", no woman names were mentioned except when they marry a prominent "Man".

With this setting, it is possible that Adam and Eve had daughters. Since, women were not listed, we do not know their names. And these daughters inbred with the sons, thus MAN came and multiply in the Earth.

I remember that... kaya nilagyan ng Diyos ng marka sa noo si Cain as a warning to the "other people" out there in the wilderness na wag syang gagalawin... again.... saan na naman nanggaling yung mga tao na yun.

No one gets to decided which is fiction and which is reality. Reality doesn't bow to your wishes or desire. It is not in the slightest affected by your perception of it. A thing doesn't suddenly and won't become real just because most people believe it to be. The Bible is a work of fiction. It has very little historical value and absolutely no scientific credibility. Nearly everything written in it has already been disproved by science and history.

I disagree. A lot of what is written in the old testament have been proven to have happened.

The old cities of Sodom and Gomorrah have been found. The wilderness where Moses was ordered to cut a stone for water has been found. The place where the tablets were broken by Moses due to the people's worship of idols has been found too. The chariots that were chasing Moses and the Israelites across the Dead Sea have been excavated.

People tend to dismiss these as coincidence, well one too many for that matter. We are not told by the "authorized" people about these things or about these developments as these would baffle scientific explanations. One question that would likely be thrown to Science is, where did the brimstone that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah come from? The planet that we live in does not have that much or doesnt even have natural brimstone.

There is a fine line between reality and fiction. If things do not become "real" because many believe in it, it likewise wouldn't be "fiction" because you believe it to be so.
