Hi gusto ko lang malaman kong ano ba ibig sabihin ng direct cool nakabili.kase kami ng ref. Nung sabado and ung brand nya is SHARF REFRIGERATOR SJ-UL11AS-SL.. Ganto kase un nilagay lang namin sa 5 ung kayang cooling power ba un ang maximum nya po is 8 any ways may tindahan kami so madami po kami nilalagay dun. Napansin ko po na parang every 6hours nag dedefroost po sya. And then tumawag kami sa binilhan namin sabi nya need daw namin bumili ng avr dahil mahina daw hatak ng kuryente namin.. Ang tanong ko lang is natural lang po ba na mag defroost sya every 6hours. Oh need na talaga namin bumili ng avr medyo pricey po kase sya 4,000 pesos ang 1500wats. Thank you sa sasagot godbless

It has nothing to see with avr...your ref has an automatic defrost timer, this timer is set on 6 hrs which is not very good here in the Philippines where it's always hot... unless you have an aircon and room temperature around 20 degrees.
Anyways, maybe you can change the settings of the timer but you need to locate it first...

It's ok if your freezer is always full and food frozen... when it defrosts it's only for maybe 20 minutes so the food is still ok... the defrost is to avoid water and ice in the bottom of the freezer part of the ref.

So sir is it posible that there's nothing wrong on our ref.? Aside from automatically defrosting anyway its brandnew i just worried on that defrosting thing hehehe so i dont need to buy that avr?

no nothing wrong...automatic defrosting's a normal spec for some refs...
and no need of avr (although if you are in an area with many brownouts, you may consider it when you have the budget for)

Tinawagan na po namin sila wala silang ibang sinabi kundi bumili kami ng avr. Any way bumili na kami para sure. So far ok ok naman na d na nag auto defrost..

Report nyo na rin po sa meralco kung bakit mababa ang kuryente sa area niyo..

Hindi normal na mag auto defrost ang direct cool, lalo kung every 6 hours. Most possible reason kung bakit namamatay compressor at nagdedefrost, low voltage, tama ang suggestion sa inyo na gumamit ng avr, o kaya naman ay overlaoaded ang ref, pwede magbawas ng laman.

Naka max ba lahat ng meter ng ref nyo? kung max yan possible yan na di kaya ng kuryente nyo. I don't believe sa mga AVR sh*t na sinasabi sa inyo. Lahat ng appliance applicable yan sa 220volts.

Pagawa ka sa mga kakilala nyong electrician ng power outlet(saksakan) na direkta sa Main switch nyo. Ang kuryente kasi parang tubig din yan, pag maraming outlet na na dinaanan pahina ng pahina ang current nyan kaya mga saksakan ng aircon at ref kung pansin mo solo lang yan minsan kasi rekta yan sa source.
