Tenki no ko (Weathering With You) PH release date moved to August 28

While Makoto Shinkai’s Weathering With You was given an August 21 release date via SM Cinema, the film’s release date will actually be one week later. Anime Movies Philippines (the official Facebook page of Pioneer Films) recently announced that Weathering With You will be released in PH theaters on August 28, 2019.

While its wide release is scheduled on the 28th, Weathering With You will also get an exclusive fan screening on August 17, 3PM at SM Megamall.

Synopsis:

The summer of his high school freshman year, Hodaka runs away from his remote island home to Tokyo, and quickly finds himself pushed to his financial and personal limits.
